Ceramic molded medal with obverse depicting battle scene with legend in exergue: "SCIPION VAINQUEUR/D'ANNIBAL./A.R. 550." Reverse shows standing female figure in ancient Roman dress and helmet, holding spear, with shield inscribed "ROMA" at her feet; at right is kneeling female figure receiving laurel branch from the former; inscription in exergue: "ROME DONNE LA PAIX/A CARTHAGE./A.R. 551."
