Description: 
White cotton mull scarf (fichu) with whitework lace silk embroidery around the edges; the fichu consists of two triangular pieces of fabric sewn together across their plain edge, one piece being slightly smaller than the other so that when folded in half, the fichu is two-tiered; the design around the edges of both pieces are the same, with a row of floral garland bordered on both sides with drawnwork chains, at the edge is a drawnwork scalloped design which has the appearance of being fringed.
