Reverse depicts snake biting its own tail intertwined within a wreath enclosing inscription: "A PARTING TOKEN/OF REGARD/FROM THE OFFICERS/AND CLERKS/OF THE MINT./1851."; on scroll above: "CODEX/MONETAE/1837."
