White silk ribbon badge with bow and silver metal and fabric flower at top; ribbon printed in gold "1798-1865/ VOLUNTEER/ FIREMENS/ ASSOCIATION/ Floor" with central image of fire engine; bottom of ribbon edged with metal "fringe."

According to an envelope with the object, the original owner of the ribbon was John Moller, a member of the organization, who later presented it to his nephew, Charles G. Moller Jr., in April of 1917.
