A brown painted piece of wood that is wrapped in paper with a handwritten inscription that reads "Authentic piece of wood from the stage door of the 5th Ave. Theatre, 28th St. and Broadway N.Y. City; opened 1874; torn down 1939/ Presented by Mr. Bertram Miller, Jan 2, 44", with more history of the theater.
