Ann Maria Warner's enormous quilt in the Irish Chain pattern is a tour-de-force of quilting, combining vivid printed fabrics with charming appliquéd floral sprays. Warner's name might otherwise be lost to history were it not for the initials she embroidered on her quilt and its careful preservation by her descendents. The quilt was donated by the Warner's great-great niece.
