Pieced cotton quilt with appliquéd design; eagle and seven eight-pointed stars in wreath at center, with scattered stars and blossoms surrounding; border on three sides composed of ten eagles above festoons.
Gallery Label:
The maker, Ann de Groot, was the great-aunt of the donor. She married John M. Schenck in 1835.
