Ruth Draper was an actress whose repertoire consisted of 36 original monologues, including 57 characters. She toured the United States from 1924 to 1928 and then spent 18 consecutive weeks at Comedy Theater, New York, from 1928 to 1929. She took her act around the world in the 1930s and 1940s.
