Description:
This rare printer's block is totally hand carved of wood. It shows two men standing by a large scales sorting plant material below a banner that reads, in reverse, "Dr. Carter's Compound". On the sides, the word "Balsam" and a partial word "[Pul]monary". Below are the words "Vegetable" and "Carter's Balsam", all in reverse.
