Description:
Light olive (originally white?) painted leather presentation shield presented by Empire No. 2 of Hoboken, New Jersey, to Hopkins Hose No. 3 of Morrisania, New York; upper half with red "2" appliqued over crossed hook and ladder, with "EMPIRE / OF HOBOKEN NJ" in applied leather lettering on recessed black panels above and below; lower half with "3" appliquéd on recessed red shield, with "HOPKINS HOSE / OF MORRISANIA NY" in applied leather lettering on recessed black panels above and below.
