Description: 
Metal prescription scale with two shallow circular pans made of horn attached to balance bar with string (one now detached); six circular brass weights (originally eight) with small knob handles fit into shallow, circular wells in top of wooden storage block; a small compartment with sliding lid in one corner of block holds seven (originally eight) thin sheet metal weights which are square, hexagonal, and triangular in shape.
