Description:
Silver double-cover, closed-faced (railroad?) pocket watch with round knob and swivel ring stirrup, with 4 watch keys; obverse cover has shield-shaped field at the center surrounded with scrolls; reverse cover has a cluster of 3 flowers at the center; white ceramic face beneath crystal has Roman numeral hour markings, hour and minute hands at the center, a separate second timer at bottom center; maker's catalogue information stamped inside reverse on workings cover; 4 keys, 3 have pear-shaped heads and straight jaws, with groove at the neck to hold ring finding attachment (missing from one key); fourth key has a circular swivel stirrup above circular head, straight jaw.
