Description:
Gold watch with cylindrical pendant stem, flat pendant knob and stirrup bow; glass face; white enamel dial with arabic numeral hours and minutes; steel moon hour and minute hands; hallmarks on inside of back casing; filigree balance cock.
Gallery Label:
This watch belonged to John Laurance (1750-1810), who served as judge advocate general on General George Washington's staff from 1777 to 1782.
