Description:
Gold pocket watch with glass face and white enamel dial; flat pendant stem and knob; stirrup bow; primary dial measures seconds, has arabic second markings and a second hand; two secondary apertures; left-hand aperture denotes the date, with odd numbers 1 to 31 around perimeter; lower aperture is the time, with arabic numeral hours and minute markings and hour and minute hands; third circle within dial has the inscription "Breguet"; foliate filigree balance cock. Engraved tag delineating the lifespan of the watch's owner.

This watch belonged to physician Dr. William Stillwell (1768-1832), who was born in Middletown, New Jersey and settled in New York City in the 1790s.
