This plaque was apparently offered as a souvenir of the 11th Annual Dinner of the Society of Colonial Wars in the State of New York, which took place Friday, January 9, 1903, at Delmonico's restaurant in New York. The menu for that dinner is printed on a detached paper leaf found with the object.
