Description:
This thin gold-colored metal plaque has a relief in the center of men looking into a safe while a fire rages in the background. Around the rim are the words "Roff & Stearns Late Rich & Co./ Salamander/ Patent 3 June 43/ Depot 146 Water St. N.Y." Probably a maker of fire-proof safes.
