Description: 
Handmade white silk bobbin lace godet ruffle fragment, the foot edge is plain, tulle is studded with cordonnet daisies, the outer edge is made of open dot and close cross bar palm leaves, creating a scalloped edge which is beaded.
Gallery Label: 
This lace belonged to the wife of Captain Clemont Miller of Barbados. The family later moved to Cooperstown, New York.
