Description:
White metal struck medal with obverse showing nude bust of Washington facing right with legend running in three concentric circles: "GEORGE WASHINGTON/FIRST IN WAR, FIRST IN PEACE/AND FIRST IN/THE HEARTS/OF HIS COUNTRYMEN." Reverse shows coat of arms of the Parsons family on shield surmounted by crest and flanked by floral sprays; surrounding legend: "EDWARD-WILLIS PARSONS/OF FLUSHING, NEW YORK."
