Description:
Eleven silver oyster forks in the "Cluny" pattern with upturned trefoil end handles with an all over foliate design between geometric designs on the fronts; "SES" engraved on the undersides of the handles in script; three curved tines on each, one pointed; maker's marks stamped on the undersides of the handles.
Gallery Label:
The initials "SES" refer to Susan Elizabeth McLane (b.1831), who married Samuel Spencer Stafford (1825-1895) in Albany in 1854.
