The Perris and Brown insurance maps of 1875 indicate this building at the northeast corner of Broad and Water streets with the initials "W.M. 1764." It is indicated as a brick building with the address 24--26 Water Street. Another sepia watercolor of the Marston Mansion is in the extra-illustrated edition of John W. Francis, Old New York in the Society's library. The same building is the subject of a lithograph in Valentine's Manual, entitled Old House Cr. Broad & Water Sts, Built 1764."
