Colorless lead glass footed nursing bottle blown in mold; tooled flange lip; tapering cylundrical neck with two annulated rings; bulbous body; circular base.

According to the accession records, this nursing bottle belonged to the family of Cyrus Porter Smith, first elected mayor of Brooklyn (1832-1840). Smith was the great-great-great grandfather of the donor.
