Board game with four wooden playing pieces, a cardboard spinner with a metal arrow and a paper board applied to the bottom half of the paper covered cardboard box; chromolithographed board with a winding path of red and blue circles leading from the 'Newsboys Home" to the 'Book and Stationary store"; cover lithographed with images of a boy running behind a three people with an armload of papers, and a boy hawking papers over a newspaper labeled "The Times"; box lithographed with the inscription, "THE/ NEWS/ BOY/ GAME/ COPYRIGHT 1895 BY PARKER BROTHERS, SALEM, MASS., U.S.A.".
