Description:
Wrought silver mug; globular lower body with a high flared upper body on a molded and stepped base; foliate bands applied around the rim and the footring; s-scroll strap handle with die-rolled foliate decoration applied at the lip and lower body; engraved "J L L" in bright-cut script on the front center; no maker's mark.
Gallery Label:
This mug probably belonged to Joseph Lumley Levy, whose initials are engraved on the center.
