Catharine Livinston Reade was the eldest daughter of John Reade and Catharine (Livingston) Reade. She married Nicholas William Stuyvesant (1769-1833) on January 31, 1795. Her portrait was donated to the Society through Fannie Graham Dudley, her great-granddaughter.
