Description:
Silver miniature sugar tongs; bow-form with chased foliate decoration on the arms; engraved initials, "MG" in script on the arch; floral grips; maker's marks stamped on the underside of the arms.
Gallery Label:
The initials "MG" may refer to Louise's sister Marion Howard Gilder (1884-1912).
