Description:
Wooden slant-top medicine chest with hinged lid, dovetailed corners, and brass mount with bail handle; on side near back, narrow drawer with turned wooden pull, with cover; inside chest, five stepped tiers with seven spaces cut out of each to hold round bottles; 35 colorless blown glass round bottles of slightly different sizes with rounded shoulder tapering to circular base, cylindrical neck, and pontil mark ground down, with pressed glass stoppers; some of bottles with etched panels with inscriptions.
