Description:
Bronze struck medal with obverse showing horse head crest and plough with legend: "NOVA CAESAREA" and date "1788" in exergue. Reverse bears inscription at center of field: "ELIZABETH/NEW JERSEY/1664-1976" surrounded by legend: "FIRST GOVERNOR OF NEW JERSEY/FIRST SHOT AFTER INDEPENDENCE/FIRST CAPITOL OF NEW JERSEY/E. PLURIBUS UNUM."
