Description:
Bronze struck medal with obverse showing right-facing bust-length profile; legend: "LVDOVICVS.MAGNVS.REX.CHRISTIANISSIMVS.". Reverse shows canoe decorated with six shields and two genies at top, carrying a globe; Victory above, crown in hand; legend: "DELETA HOSTIVM CLASSE"; in exerg.: "VICTORIA PANORMITANA/ M.DC.LXXVI." In hinged green leather presentation box lined in red velvet, with brass clasp.
