Description:
Bronze struck medal with obverse showing left-facing bust-length profile with trident behind; legend: "LVDOVICVS.XIV.FRANC.ET.NAV REX". Reverse shows sailing ship at sea; legend: "NAVIGATIO INSTAVRATA'; in exerg.: "1668". In hinged red leather presentation box lined in velvet, with brass clasp.
