Reverse shows left front-facing bust-length portrait of Fulton inside cirlce above ship in water; legend: CENTENNIAL/ ROBERT/FVLTON/ CELEBRATION/ FVLTON'S CLERMONT/ THE FIRST SUCCESSFUL STEAMBOAT". Rectangular slot fused at top.
