Silver struck medal with obverse showing left facing bare headed bust-length profile of Columbus seen from back; legend: "THE WORLD'S COLUMBIAN EXPOSITION/ CHICAGO 1893." Reverse shows buildings at top and bottom labeled under rule: "THE FORESTRY BUILDING/ 203 X 525 FEET COST $ 100000" and "THE TRANSPORTATION BUILDING/ 250 X 960 FEET/ COST $370,000."
