Struck bronze medal with obverse showing seated human figure in animal skin against a backgound of mountains and sailing ship; stars, rays of light, compasses, and angle at right, all surrounded by decorative border in the form of chain; legend above field: "KANE LODGE"; inscription below: "F.&A.M./No.454/N.Y./A.L.5858." Reverse shows inscription "MEMBER" surrounded by laurel wreath and legend around border outside field: "MEETINGS 1st 3rd & 5th TUESDAYS"
