Bronze struck medal with obverse showing uniformed three-quarter bust of Lindbergh facing right with legend: "C LINDBERGH"; inscription: "New . York . to . Paris . in ./.33 1/2 hours ./. May 20 21/. 1927 ." Reverse depicts aeroplane flying above sunset, all surrounded by wings emerging from shell below; legend above: "..NEW . YORK . TO . PARIS.." Medal set into white square cardboard box.
