Copper-plated lead electrotype of DeFleury medal with obverse showing allegorical figure of war in a ruined fort with legend: "VIRTUTIS ET AUDACIAE MONUM. ET PRAEMIUM"; inscription below exergual line: "D. DE FLEURY EQUITI GALLO/PRIMO SUPER MUROS/ RESP. AMERIC. D.D." Reverse shows view of the fort with legend above: "AGGERES PALUDES HOSTES VICTI"; inscription in exergue: "STONY-PT. EXPUGN./XV.JUL.MDCCLXXIX."
