Bronze struck medal with obverse showing allegorical figure of war in a ruined fort with legend: "VIRTUTUIS ET AUDACIAEMONUM. ET PRAEMIUM" and inscription below exergual line: "D.DE FLEURY EQUITI GALLO/PRIMO SUPER MUROS/RESP.AMERIC.D.D." Reverse depicts view of the fort with legend: "AGGERES PALUDES HOSTES, VICTI" and is inscribed below exergual line: "STONY - PT. EXPUGN./XV. JUL.MDCCLXXIX."
