Description: 
Lady's ecru lace cap with turquoise velvet ribbon trim; triangular shape with bow of 3/4-inch ribbon at center front with loops of 3/16-inch ribbon at either side; lace ties with ribbon backing; rosette of 3/4-inch ribbon with two long streamers in back.

According to the accession records, this cap was worn by Harriet Taylor McLaughlin (ca. 1813-1873), the donor's grandmother.
