Lady of the Le Conte Family
Oil on canvas, mounted on cardboard
Overall: 29 1/8 x 24 in. ( 74 x 61 cm )
The Le Conte family lived in the area of New Rochelle, New York. This portrait of an unidentified member of that family appears to be by the same artist who painted the portraits of Abram Gouveneur (1671-1740) and his wife, Mary Leisler (d. 1747), in the Museum of the City of New York.
