Description:
Silver ladle with down-turned, pointed-end handle decorated with foliate and geometric decoration and framed with Vitruvian scroll; handle engraved with cipher "MAB" in Gothic-style characters; deep, horizontal elliptical bowl is gilded on both obverse and reverse; makers' hallmark stamped on the underside of handle.
