Description:
Cotton lithographed campaign kerchief with a central portrait medallion of Theodore Roosevelt surrounded by a field of diamonds; several stripe borders; printed in red and sepia ink on a natural ground.
Gallery Label:
This kerchief was made for the 1912 presidential campaign of Theodore Roosevelt. The portrait is derived from an image by Underwood & Underwood, a photography agency that was based in New York City.
