Before 1700 vessels from Holland entered / Mill Basin-- the Brothers Jan & Rolof(?) interested in trading with Holland / constructed the house like hull of ship with curved timber & arch-like / inverted frame like no other house on Long Island. / Built about 1675 -- Now owned by Gulf Oil Co."
