Gilt bronze struck medal with obverse showing two figures of Native Americans observing approaching sailing ship; legend: "JAMESTOWN./TERCENTENNIAL./EXPOSITION./MCMVII." Reverse bears inscription: "COMMEMORATING/THE.FIRST/PERMANENT. SETTLEMENT/OF. ENGLISH. SPEAKING/PEOPLE. IN. AMERICA /AWARDED TO/HUDSON RIVER DAY LINE [on decorative tablet]"; exposition pavilion below, all surrounded by wreath of laurel and corn with eagle.
