Incense burner is marked along undersides of bottom in Japanese characters, translated as "Made by Seizan in Kutani area, Japan." Tag affixed to bottom that is written in Japanese characters and may indicate price, loosely translated as "7,000 Yen".
Description: 
One of two incense burners painted in cinnabar red, black, and gold; ornamentation consists of frieze decorated with cranes and foliage; lip, base, and tripod pedestal are painted with red and gold borders.
