This shows the 1909 replica of Henry Hudson's Half Moon of 1609 in the Hudson River. The Half Moon was the ship in which he discovered the river in 1609. Beside it is the Hudson River Day Line steamer Hendrick Hudson, launched at Newburgh, New York, in 1906.
