Cast silver hair comb with six teeth and an engraved and scalloped decorative top; ovoid band above the teeth with wheel turned borders and an engraved band of bell flowers in the center; triangular area above with scalloped edges and seven trianglar areas inside divided by bands of bellflowers, each area angraved with foliate scrolls; underside stamped, "PAT. APR. 30, 1878" in roman letters; no maker's marks.
