White metal die-struck medal with obverse depicting uniformed bust of George McClellan facing left; legend "McCLELLAN & PENDLETON DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATES/1864"; reverse depicts image of quill and scroll inscribed "CONSTITUTION"; surrounding legend "THE CONSTITUTION AS IT IS/THE HOPE OF THE UNION". Hole punched at top center.
