Reverse shows Washington and his staff, on horseback, watching the British evacuation of Boston and the entrance of the American forces: "HOSTIBUS PRIMO FUGATIS"; legend below exergual line: "BOSTONIUM RECUPERATUM/XVII. MARTII/MDCCLXXVI."
