Cream silk satin ribbon with half-length portrait of Andrew Jackson seated at writing desk with book at left; urn with weeping willow branch above; vignette with buildings amidst park beneath; inscription printed in black: "IN MEMORY OF DEPARTED WORTH./GEN. ANDREW JACKSON./Born March 15th 1767. Died June 8th 1845./in his 79th year./His fair renown shall never fade away,/Nor shall the Mention of his name decay,/Though to the Dust his mortal part we give./His Fame in Triumph o'er the Grave shall live."
