Description:
Colorless glass; pressed. Compote with base pressed separately and attached with wafer; bowl has scalloped rim, narrow panels around sides, and diamond patterning on lower edges and underside; pedestal in the form of a female portrait bust, and domed foot with wreath of flowers and leaves impressed on underside.

According to the accession records, the pedestal bust is meant to represent Jenny Lind; however, Jenny Lind's popularity had ended by the time this object was produced.
