Colorless lead glass paperweight in the form of a flattened sphere with slightly concave top, faceted sides, and concave base; floral bouquet oriented horizontally inside, with large red flower at center surrounded by blue, violet, yellow, pink, and white flowers and green leaves on latticinio ground.
Paul Hollister refers to the "Saint-Louis style of hollow diamond cutting" used in this example (see "Glass Paperweights of the New-York Historical Society," p. 119).
