Description:
Silver fish knife with a slightly upturned handle with chased scroll work and a spear-shaped reserve engraved, "B" in gothic script; molded joint fitted with a scalloped and curved blade; makers' marks stamped on the blade.

This butter knife was given to the donor's mother, Marie Antoinette Baker Davis on the occassion of her marriage to Fellows Davis in 1871.
